Getting ready for the party season? Need to transition easily from home to work to after-work party then back home? Don't want to spend hours getting ready because you've only got minutes? And, of course, it has to last the distance?

No problem! Just get your make-up right in the morning to make it look natural!

Using make-up is a way of enhancing your natural beauty, and the trend, based on many of the recent fashion shows, is for make-up looks to be very natural-looking and nude.

Creating a natural make-up look is not only easy, but it can shave time off your morning routine. Follow these tips and you'll soon become a master at creating this seemingly effortless look.

1. Get dewy looking skin with moisturiser

You don't need to pack on the foundation to get dewy-looking skin. The key to a luminous complexion is moisturiser. Apply a tinted moisturiser as a sheer base to even out your skin tone. You can also try a BB cream, which works about the same as a tinted moisturiser. Make sure the products you use have SPF in them for sun protection.

2.  Enhance the eyes with eyeliner and mascara

mascara

Apply a thin line of eyeliner along the upper lash line, then apply a generous amount of lengthening mascara only to the top eyelashes for a little drama.

3.  Don't forget the eyebrows

Eyes are the windows to the soul, but the eyebrows are the curtains that can make those windows look fabulous. You can get a polished look by keeping eyebrows groomed. Fill them in with a pencil and comb them upward with an eyebrow brush or mascara brush.

4.  Add a hint of colour to the cheeks

You don't want your natural make-up look to wash out your face, so dab a bit of colour with a soft pink blush. Use a fluffy brush to apply the blush upward and outward toward your ears.

5.  Raspberry lips work for everyone

Another way to add a touch of color and to finish off the look is with raspberry lip gloss or lip stain. Think soft and satiny when applying lip color. Use your finger to apply lipstick so that you get just enough color without looking overdone. This also helps to make the lipstick last longer.

A natural make-up look is refreshing and doesn't require a great deal of effort. You want make-up to give you a gorgeous glow and boost your natural beauty, not cover it up!
