In a recent survey of more than 1,000 US mums found 66% admitted to hiding in their bathroom for some much-needed alone time.  The research commissioned by Ivory, Procter & Gamble’s consumer brand also found that for 30% of those surveyed found the most complicated aspect of motherhood was finding more “me time”. The survey also found:
• 75% feel the pressure to make every outing, play date, or experience a “teachable moment.”
• 77% would rather be the “cool mum” than the “hot mum”
• 83%of full-time working mums think they have it harder and 60 percent of stay-at-home mums believe their job is more difficult.
• 43% said having your kid known as the “smelly” kid is much worse than having your kid known as the “potty mouth” (20%), the “whiner” (17%) or the “snob” (13%).
