With New Year's Eve celebrations upon us, many parents want their children to enjoy the festivity and celebration of new year also - but, of course, without the alcohol.

If you're spending New Year's Eve with your little ones, or having a party for them and their friends, here's a wonderfully festive drink which looks like it's one for 'special occasions' and tastes great also.

You may also find that adults will enjoy it as much as kids!

Ingredients

about 200g of cranberries (fresh preferred but dried do the job in terms of flavour but not look)

½ litre of sprite or similar lemon-lime soft drink

1 ½  litres of cranberry or raspberry juice

10-15 crushed mint leaves

Method

Mix everything together in a punch bowl or canister and enjoy!
