October is fast approaching and that means it’s time to dust off your lederhosens, raise your steins and celebrate everyone’s favourite beer festival. And any few weeks you can dedicate to eating delicious food and drinking delicious bier, sound like a very good few weeks indeed.

The 16-day celebration of beer starts in mid-September and has been embraced all over Australia. So, no matter which state you’re in, you’re sure to find a festival to clink your glasses at.

Bavarian Bier Café

The beauty about celebrating in the Bavarian Bier Café is that the venues are all over Sydney.

You’ll be able to taste a total 5 biers – four of them straight from tents in Munich – available over the weeks and you can party as much as you like, whilst enjoying some delicious German food.

When: 22 September-28 October

You can laugh, dance, yodel and sing to your heart’s content in the Oktoberfest Tent. See, learn and be amazed at the displays, shows and information of all things German in the German Connections Tent. Relax in the Munich Biergarten while your kids enjoy the Kinder-Zone, and much much more – including a Bavarian Strongmen Competition.
