Pilot Pen has launched a new range of permanent markers to help with getting the home and office organised.

Developed using the latest state-of-the-art Japanese technology, Pilot Permanent Markers are made with quick drying, long lasting ink that doesn’t fade out, so you can sort and label paperwork, boxes, clothing and a multitude of other items and then store them away and find them easily when you need to.

“Our new Permanent Markers can be used on pretty much anything – cartons, glass, plastic, wood, metal, paper.  They will even write and remain on greasy, oily surfaces so you can use them to organise storage in the kitchen or garage,” said Mr John Johnston, marketing manager, Pilot Pen Australia.

Mr Johnston said that Pilot had conducted extensive research into the formulation and uses of markers and found that many people were frustrated with their longevity.

“Caps often get left off markers and the ink dries up, so the marker has to be replaced, making it a costly, time-wasting exercise,” he said.

As a result of Pilot’s in-depth research and technological expertise, the new Permanent Markers feature a ’24-hour cap off usage’ so you can leave the cap off for 24-hours then pick it up and start writing where you left off.  The ink is also wear resistant so it can’t be rubbed out and won’t fade if exposed to excessive heat, light, cold or water, making it a great option for long-term storage.

“If you’re tired of using, losing and replacing markers at home and in the office then the Pilot Permanent Marker is for you,” said Mr Johnston.

Pilot Pen is well-known for its innovative products - its much-loved Frixion range featuring erasable ink is popular world-wide and more recently Pintor Paint Markers are being applauded by mums, D.I.Y. buffs and art and design fans for its ability to customise designs on any surface.

Available in four vibrant colours Pilot Permanent Markers also feature a choice of bullet tip: 1.0mm; or chisel tip 1.5mm – 4.mm.  Choose SCA 400 for detailed, more precise lettering and SCA 100 for bold writing and labelling, priced $2.40 each.

Pilot Pen is the largest pen manufacturer in Japan and has subsidiaries throughout the world, including Australia.  The Pilot range is extensive, covering premium gold nib fountain pens to everyday ballpoint pens and markers.
