So if you want to protect pests from entering your home, don’t forget to keep your dustbins covered.

Not paying attention to the cleanliness of your surroundings

If your neighbourhood is dirty, your home will be prone to pest infestation, even if it is thoroughly clean. Heaps of clutter lying around your home will serve as breeding grounds for an uncountable number of pests. These pests are naughty enough to easily find a way inside your home.

Ignoring your garden maintenance

One thing is for sure that pests are clever enough to find a hide-out in your home. Among several places to hide in your home, like basement and attic, your garden can be one as well. If your garden grass is grown up to knees and plants are not trimmed, you will not be able to spot the burrows that pests have made in the garden soil. A pile of firewood is prone to development of ant infestation. If this firewood is kept anywhere close to your house, pests living in the pile will surely enter your home.
