Carita specialises in anti-ageing products and was founded by two sisters, Maria and Rosy Carita, 65 years ago based on the concept of ‘global beauty’ incorporating and integrating products for the face, body and hair. Carita’s House of Beauty headquarters is located on Fabourg Saint Honoré, Paris and is now headed by Maria’s and Rosy’s nephew Christophe who has overseen further consolidation of the exclusivity tag long associated with Carita products.

Carita’s anti-ageing products are based on in-house research and scientific innovations that target different age-related beauty concerns without surgery or needles but using exclusive ‘Pro-Lift’ technology.

“We will be meeting the demands of clients seeking advanced anti-ageing products and avant-garde technology with the use of Carita’s Pro-Lift machine,” explained Day Spa Director, Samantha Swan.

“Carita facials are a unique fusion of science and nature which not only feel beautiful but also rejuvenating.”

Today Carita is only available in a relative handful of spas around the world generally (but not always) attached to ‘like’ brands such as 5 star hotels. The Day Spa at The Observatory Hotel is the only hotel in Sydney to offer Carita products.

Already considered Sydney’s most discreet, prestige hotel The Observatory is located in a tranquil setting of the north-eastern end of the CBD away from the bustle but close enough for everything to be within easy walking distance – whether it be the Sydney Theatre, The Rocks, the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, Darling Harbour or the city shops.

The Day Spa has long been a favourite of hotel guests as well as locals wanting a special pampering session. In addition to signature treatments such as the Perfect Gold Facial and Perfect Gold Body Massage which contain 24c gold leaf, the Day Spa also offers Spa Socialising events, poolside treatments, couples packages or a ‘Yummy Mummy’ treatment with prices ranging from $105 through to a 7 hour ‘Bride to Be’ package for $895.

I am fortunate to travel to France and Italy 2 times a year for work and always visit Carita’s House of Beauty in Paris. Their products are marvellous and it’s good to see them in Australia. Next time I’m in Sydney, I’ll visit the Observatory.
