Rizmo has travelled from the far reaches of the universe to arrive just in time for Christmas as the number one toy on every child’s wish-list!

TOMY, the leading toy manufacturer, today unveiled RizmoTM, the first-ever “evolving toy” that listens, learns, remembers and grows, both in play value and physical form.

TOMY’s decades of experience and industry success in innovative plush and robotics, has come together in this remarkably interactive and robust creature to combine the most popular toy trends into one product.

Rizmo has already been previewed by some of Australia’s most renowned toy vloggers including Grace’s World - cementing Rizmo as the number one toy to buy this Christmas.

Rizmo, whose name comes from “Rhythm Monster,” is ready to play immediately out of the box. As kids interact, cuddle, sing and play with Rizmo, they’ll experience its magical evolution – growing and evolving from adorable baby to a playful kid and, finally, to the fun, music-loving Rizmo over time. Once Rizmo is fully evolved, additional play modes and more advanced interactive features are unlocked, guaranteeing never-ending fun.

TOMY Australia Managing Director, Mark Robertson said Rizmo will be a massive gamechanger for the toy industry and a must-have product this festive season.

“Rizmo is a one of-a-kind toy on the local market with its unique transformative technology, evolutionary experience and its interactivity."

“We’ve identified these unique features to differentiate Rizmo from anything else on the market. It is the first-ever toy that truly evolves with its owner."

“The TOMY Australia team are thrilled to launch Rizmo into market and look forward to bringing people on the Rizmo journey,” he said.

Full of personality and fun, Rizmo begins its journey with five play modes, including “Rolling Rhythms” and “Record Songs,” where children can sing to Rizmo and it will sing the same song back. “Rock-a-Bye Rizmo” mode will help put it to sleep. When Rizmo is fully evolved, there are two additional play modes to discover.

Children can choose from three different Rizmo colours including Berry, Aqua and Snow, each of which feature a specific musical style, such as Pop Star, Hip-Hop Star, Rock Star and Electro Star. Kids can select their favourite colour, but the musical theme they’ve selected is a surprise until Rizmo is fully evolved.

Rizmo is available online and instore at all major toy retailers around Australia.
