If you look up the signs of pregnancy on the internet, you will find heaps of information on the matter, but not all symptoms are as easy to spot as most people claim them to be and there are always those weird and totally unusual experiences that women have during early pregnancy. On that note, here are six unusual signs of pregnancy that are neither common nor apparent.

Stagnant Body Heat

Your body will almost always experience an increase in basal temperature on the morning after you ovulate, but that should not last more than two weeks or until your next period under normal circumstances. If your basal body temperature doesn’t decrease within those two weeks, you are most probably pregnant.

Problem with Bowel Movements

In case you are having trouble with bowel movements or you are finding it difficult to even pass gas, then it is very likely that you are suffering from constipation, but that constipation itself could be a result of pregnancy. Changes in the level of various hormones can lead to constipation and bloating in pregnant women.

False Periods

If you see blood when you are pregnant, you should immediately contact your doctor, but it’s not always an alarming sign of a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. Sometimes, light bleeding and spotting occurs when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the lining of the uterus. This is called implantation bleeding, which is nothing to worry about.

Catching Colds and Flus

Yes, pregnancy does make you catch colds! The entire process takes a toll on your immunity and as a result, you end up catching cold and the flu far more often than normal. Given that pregnant women cannot take just any medication they need to, do consult with your doctor as soon as you catch a cold because there are safe options. The faster you take the necessary precautions, the lower are the risks of the cold or flu getting worse and causing complications.

That Metallic Taste in Your Mouth

As the ovaries start secreting progesterone and estrogen at a much higher rate than before, a lot of women develop a constant metallic taste in their mouth. Flavoured chewing gum might help to get rid of the irritating taste.

Scary Discharge

Vaginal discharge is not an uncommon phenomenon during menstruation and pregnancy, so sticky, white/light-yellow mucous is nothing to be worried about, although it may scare you at first. It’s your body’s way of keeping the cervix sanitized through increased blood flow. However, consult with your doctor immediately if you see a greenish colour in the discharge and it starts to smell, itch and burn in the area.

It is easy to state the importance of being calm while pregnant, but when your hormones are going haywire and you see weird changes in your body that you had not expected, it’s only human to be panicky. Thanks to the internet though, we now have sources like Pregmed.Org to guide would-be moms through tough phases by providing useful and accurate knowledge.

pregnancy is a serious part of women because after that women have to feed their child through breast. so women should take care of it. even many transgenders try to feminize.
