The 'babymoon' is one of the hottest baby trends of 2013, so it's no surprise that the spotlight is set to turn to Kate and William’s ‘babymoon’ and where they might head on their final holiday before becoming parents.

In case you’re planning a special couples-only holiday before your own impending arrival, Hotels Combined have put together a list of the best hotels around the world for a ‘babymoon’.

“The final stage of pregnancy is a time for parents-to-be to enjoy their last months together as a duo, before they become a trio! A babymoon is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a romantic break or relax before the hard work really begins,” said HotelsCombined’s Head of PR and Community, Kristen McKenzie.

“From programs promoting inner strength, vitality and peace of mind, private yoga lessons and prenatal counseling through to couples’ photo-shoots, candlelit dinners and private beach access, the resorts on our list are a must-see for expectant parents.”

The babymoon hotels were selected based on packages on offer, with only the most unique, romantic and relaxing resorts making the cut.

Trump Hotel New York

With the royal babe in mind, the Trump Hotel New York has created a Trump Royal Heir Package for expectant mothers and fathers. The bundle includes a two-night stay in an executive room stocked with a prenatal pillow, massages, breakfast for two and a selection of special teas, smoothies and mocktails. The package also includes $3,000 worth of gift cards to spend at Neiman Marcus, FAO Schwartz and Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry.

The Chateau Spa Resort, Malaysia

This is the world’s first organic spa and wellness resort, The Chateau Spa Resort’s pregnancy therapy programs are top of the line and designed to promote inner strength, vitality and peace of mind. Services on offer include one-on-one pre-natal training, nutritional consultations, physical consultations and pre-natal counseling. There are also facials, aroma baths and reflexology treatments which will leave future mums well revitalised.

Casa Velas Hotel, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

The Babymoon Package at Casa Velas Hotel includes a stay in a Grand Class Suite for future mamas and papas as well as massages, breakfast in bed, and a couple’s photo shoot where guests receive 20 printed photos to take home.  The package also comes with a body cream set, a book of baby names and a specially-prepared meal to enjoy on the flight home.

Esencia, Riviera Maya, Mexico

With an offer of round- trip transfers, daily breakfast and a three-night stay in a stunning ocean view suite, the Esencia already attracts its fair share of soon-to-be parents. The hotel’s babymoon package goes even further and includes a ‘Nine Moons Essence of Life’ massage, pre-natal yoga lessons and a romantic candlelit dinner.  In hopes that couples will return along with their new bundle of joy, Esencia also provides a gift certificate to celebrate the child’s first birthday where his or her bill will be on the house.

Royal Palms Resort and Spa, Phoenix, USA

Dads will really appreciate the Royal Palms Resort and Spa’s babymoon package for its inclusion of cognac and cigars - if you must.
