The actress raises six children with fiance Brad Pitt; biological daughter Shiloh, six, and twins Vivienne and Knox, three, as well as adopted children Maddox, ten, Zahara, seven, and Pax, eight.
Jolie says that while her clan is keeping her busy, motherhood has changed her life for the better.
"It's always hectic but more manageable than when I had two very small babies who needed to be constantly with me," she told the UK edition of OK! Magazine.
"That was the most difficult time but even then it was also a very beautiful time in our lives. For me, being a mother has enriched my world so much more than I could ever have imagined. It's hard to say that I needed to be able to care for children to become happy in my life, but I think there's a lot of truth to that."
