Plastic surgery can offer results that leave you looking and feeling years younger than your actual age. While considered to be very safe, surgical procedures aren’t the right choice for every man and women interested in obtaining their cosmetic goals. Non-surgical cosmetic procedures, like the non-surgical brow lift, offers the ability to get results that turn back the clock, with much less invasive procedures being used.

What exactly is the non-surgical brow lift?

Non-surgical cosmetic treatments can include several different treatment and procedure types, each to address one or more signs of aging. The non-surgical brow lift is often accomplished with the use of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.

As we grow older, we tend to lose some of the plump and youthful volume in our faces. This is often seen around the mouth, around the lips, temples and cheeks. Wrinkles can also set in around these areas and include wrinkles on the brow.

According to facial treatments specialist, epiclinic, the use of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections can get patients results that are very similar to what surgical procedures can achieve. The results may not be as long lasting, but for some patients this is the better option over a costlier surgery that will require much more healing time.

How do anti-wrinkle injections help?

Anti-wrinkle injections work by relaxed targeted muscles. For the non-surgical brow lift, it is often the muscles that are around the eyes that are targeted. The brow position is determined in part by the groups of muscles around the eye area. By relaxing these muscles, the brow will be in a natural and smooth position.

Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used on other areas of the face, to result in an overall smoother and youthful appearance.

How do dermal fillers help?

Fillers are injected into areas where there are depressions and wrinkles, which occur as naturally as we age. Dermal fillers can smooth out the wrinkles and add that youthful plumpness that can be missing as we grow older.

The frown lines between the eyes, along with the deep wrinkles on the forehead, can benefit from dermal fillers. Many also find that plumping their cheeks and lips can add a bit of extra youthfulness to their face.

Are there any procedures that don’t use needles?

There are several treatment types, that do not use needles, that can promote the firming up of your skin, which can then result in younger-looking skin.

Chemical peels and other skin resurfacing treatments can add a youthful glow to your face, while keeping your skin looking bright and fresh. They can also reduce the appearance of pores, along with fine lines and wrinkles.

Something that is important to keep in mind is that a good home skincare routine is an essential part of keeping that beautiful youthful glow. Staying hydrated is important, as hydrated skin is bright and healthy skin. Using a good quality face wash, along with moisturizing creams, will go a long way toward ensuring that your skin looks and feels its best year round.

How long do non-surgical brow lift treatments last?

While surgical treatments can offer results that last for many good years, non-surgical treatments can last between 6 to 18 months. It will all depend on the type of treatment used, where it is used and on the individual being treated.

Each person metabolizes at his or her own rate, which means that results can vary between individuals. Each person who gets a consultation for a non-surgical brow lift will find that his or her individual concerns mean that a custom treatment plan will need to be developed so as to target these concerns specifically. There is no one-size solution when it comes to reaching your cosmetic goals.
