There's a good reason emergency service workers such as firefighters stay fit and healthy. Their annual calendar isn't the reason - but it is a worthwhile byproduct of their fitness regime, the real purpose of which is to ensure they're able to do the job the community requires of them when called upon.
Their calendars also have a good purpose behind them: if you buy one, you will be helping the Royal Children's Hospital Burns Units in either Sydney or Brisbane, as well as helping to provide funding for research into children with burns.
So far, previous calendars have raised for than $750,000.
Some of the proceeds also goes towards assisting our firefighters to compete in national and international emergency services competitions such as The Firefighters Games, that helps them to maintain their leading edge as firefighters.
The calendars come in NSW, Queensland and Women's versions and sell for just $10 plus postage and handling of $4.
