The winners of Canstar Blue’s first Parent's Pick Awards, in which more than 1500 parents rated their most commonly used products across six baby categories were announced today.
In the Parent’s Pick Awards, parents rated Baby Food, Wipes, Bottles, Bath Wash, Nappies and Nappy Rash cream.
The favourite brands for Aussie parents according to Canstar Blue are:
- Baby Food: Rafferty’s Garden
- Baby Wipes: Huggies
- Baby Bottles: Happy Baby Bottles
- Baby Bath Wash: Gaia
- Baby Nappies: Huggies
- Nappy Rash Cream: Lucas’ Pawpaw Ointment
Canstar Blue’s Rebecca Logan said the first Parents Pick Award winners included some surprise favourites including challenger brands and at least one non-baby item topping a baby category.
“The results from our survey show Australian parents search high and low for the perfect product for their precious bundle – and that doesn’t always come from the baby aisle,” Ms Logan said.
“For example, adding to its reputation as a bit of a wonder-cream we saw Lucas Pawpaw Ointment emerge as the number one choice in the prevention and treatment of nappy rash according to parents who participated in our survey.”
Canstar Blue regularly commissions leading independent research specialists Colmar Brunton to survey Australian consumers across a range of categories to measure and track customer satisfaction.
These results power Canstar Blue’s Customer Satisfaction Awards in which products and services are rated based on the experiences of consumers who have used them.
Ms Logan said ratings in the Parents Pick Awards would contribute to Canstar Blue’s online consumer ratings resource of products and services rated “by consumers for consumers”.
“We aim to help consumers with their key purchasing decisions by making it simple for them to learn from the experiences of other consumers,” she said.
