Teaching your kids how to drive and stay safe on the road doesn’t have to be a stressful or nerve-wracking experience – get advice from the experts on what to do to give your kids the best head start to safe driving with Navman’s FREE webinar on how to teach your kids to drive. This live presentation over the internet will help parents refresh their road rules so they don’t pass on any bad driving habits to their child and provide information to make the experience smoother for them and more valuable for their child. After all, the more hours you spend with your learner, the better more confident driver they will become plus you will spend the less money on driving instructors.

How to teach your kids to drive webinar
When: Wednesday 13 September 2017
Time: 7.30pm to 8.30pm (AEST)
Registration: to register for the webinar click here or the Navman Facebook page

Navman has teamed up with Safe Drive Training, who will have a qualified driving instructor and safety driving expert on hand to provide tips for parents and answer any questions they may have about teaching someone to drive. The lesson will cover all aspects of getting started – from the skills you’ll need to make sure the experience is safe including a road rules refresher, to how to ensure young drivers stay safe once they have a licence.

“This is the second webinar we are holding to help parents who are guiding their kids behind the wheel - our first webinar last year was a wonderful success with many parents telling us that they found the advice very useful and even inspiring,’ said Wendy Hammond, Navman Australia and New Zealand.

“Our webinar was developed following a survey we put out to our customers who had taught someone to drive, asking them if they would do it again. 30 per cent were reluctant or not sure they would give it another shot, so we thought we’d step in and help out, because driver safety, and creating better driving experiences are things we pride ourselves on at Navman.” she said.

The webinar is open to anyone in Australia - all you need to participate is a computer with speakers or headphones so you can hear. You must register before-hand by visiting the Navman Facebook page or http://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/3770247745366908419

*Survey conducted by Lonergan Research asked 15,061 Navman customers who had taught someone to drive if they would do it again - September 2015

Thanks for your post. I’ve been thinking about writing a very comparable post over the last couple of weeks, I’ll probably keep it short and sweet and link to this instead if thats cool. Thanks.
