Astrology is a wonderful guide for understanding your child. It’s also a great way to look at any issues or themes that might be highlighted throughout the year.

Look at the Sun sign of your child below and see what may be happening for him or her during the month of March. There are also a few tips for mums as to what you might also be experiencing during the third month of the year.

Aries (20/3 – 20/4)

March is a quiet time for your little Aries. It’s a time where s/he needs to take some time out. Vitality might be down for the first few weeks, until the Sun moves into Aries on the 21st & energy levels start to increase once more. The first New Moon on the 1st of this month is in Pisces. It’s a good time to teach your little Aries how to relax. The Full Moon in Virgo on the 17th will highlight a family pet. Health issues may also be brought into focus during this time. The second New Moon of the month falls on the 31st and is in the sign of Aries. It’s the perfect time to begin anything to do with your little Aries. Mars, ruler of Aries turns retrograde at the beginning of the month, so you may find that your Aries child tends to internalise a lot more stuff over the coming months.

Aries mums will find that the quiet time they sought at the end of February continues for the first few weeks of March. When the Sun moves into Aries on the 21st, Aries mums will be ready to take their place in the limelight once more. Use the energy of the first New Moon on March 1st to connect with your spiritual side. Use the energy of the second New Moon on March 31st for a personal makeover.

Taurus (20/4 – 21/5)

Friends will be important to your little Taurus this month, so encourage his or her sociability. The New Moon on the 1st is a wonderful time to introduce a new group activity to your little Taurus. Spending time together in the garden is also a very soothing practice for your little Taurean. Planting seeds on the New Moon and watching them grow throughout the month is something that your Taurean child will get a lot out of. The Full Moon on the 17th highlights your Taurean child’s creativity. It may also bring a few dramas. The second New Moon of the month on March 31st is a great time to introduce meditation and relaxation to your little Taurus.

Taurean mums will also enjoy time with friends during the month of March. This month is a good one focusing on your own wishes, hopes and dreams. Make a wish on the first New Moon on March 1st. Use the energy of the second New Moon on March 31st to take some time out & commence a new spiritual practice.
