Over the coming year Peppa Pig will be the brand ambassador for Life’s Little Treasures Foundation to raise funds to support families with babies born prematurely or sick.
Replicating the successful fundraising campaign in the UK for Tommy’s Charity, Peppa will front an Australian Spashathon campaign for Life’s Little Treasures Foundation.
The Splashathon will encourage families with babies and toddlers to take part in a sponsored swimming events early 2014.
After all, splashing around with her family is one of Peppa Pig’s favourite activities!
Since 2006, Peppa has raised over 1.6 million pounds for Tommy’s, the baby charity in the UK, and Life’s Little Treasures Foundation is hoping that Peppa and her family will give a boost to the charity’s fundraising efforts that will provide valuable assistance to families across Australia.
Parool Shah, one of Life’s Little Treasures Foundation’s co-founders and director said, “Peppa Pig is a household favorite for our supporters. We are so proud to have Peppa and her family helping us to support families, improving the outcomes for their babies.”
To launch Peppa Pig’s partnership with Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, Peppa will be attending Life’s Little Treasures Foundation’s annual signature event - Walk for Prems.
Peppa will make a special appearance at the Melbourne and Sydney venues on the 27thOctober 2013.
