A new website created by savvy Melbourne mum, Melinda Gibbs, can help you turn it into that designer cot you’ve had your heart set on or perhaps something special for you!

For a one-off $30 fee, the website lets you list your wedding dress until it is sold. All that is required to start advertising are some snaps of your dress and a few details to describe it.

“My wedding dress hung for years in my wardrobe, surrounded by an invasion of maternity clothes,” recalled Melinda.

“When I finally got around to selling it, it was such a delight to see it make someone else’s dream day - and the money I received in return helped me pay my obstetrician’s bills!”

"I thought there must be so many mothers out there with wedding dresses clogging up their closets who could actually use the wardrobe space and money for other things."

"It’s a nice thought to hang onto your wedding dress for your daughter, but let’s be honest, they will have their own style when the time comes."

"Plus, in these tight times, the extra funds would certainly come in handy for so many women.  It just makes sense."

It was at that point that I decided to develop a website to connect brides with brides, and three colours white was born.”

“One bride earns some cash, another saves a bundle. It's win-win!” says Melinda.

As you can see, brides-past always have their wedding dress in the wardrobe, they must have more value than just stay in a dark place only for memory.
