We Try: Clinique’s Sonic Brush:

Delivering smoother and healthier skin

I bought Clinique’s Sonic System Purifying Brush after being concerned about the size of the pores on my nose.  I also have very dry and uneven skin that seemed to look irritated, which I wanted to fix.

For me, a skin routine is a bit of a pain and often forgotten at the end of a long day.

Initially, I was concerned it may be too harsh on my skin, but the brush is soft and gentle.

However, I don’t use it around the eye area as mine is very sensitive.

The Clinique Brush along with the 3-step skin care system has made looking after my skin easier with it having one button that you turn on to exfoliate your skin for 30 seconds in the morning or evening, as part of my skincare routine.

Split into two sections. The white bristles are for cheeks and the green area is for the T-Zone.

I simply remove my makeup before use. Apply cleanser to moistened skin or brush head. Massage in circular motion for 15 seconds on cheeks using the white bristles. And then massage in up-and-down motion for 15 seconds on T-Zone using the green bristles.

You don’t even have to time it, as it will turn off automatically when your 30 seconds is up.

I’ve found the moisturiser I use absorbs a lot better than it did before and the brush removes the dirt and grim from the day. It’s also lightweight, sleek and compact – so easy to take travelling and doesn’t take up lots of space in the bathroom.

After trialling it for six weeks and using it once a day, I have noticed a reduction in size of pores on my nose, as well as, a lot less blackheads and red blemishes around my hairline.

My skin appears cleaner, healthier and more nourished than it did before. I would recommend it to anyone wanting smoother and brighter looking skin.

Five stars.
