Narooma Charters was established in 1983, and has built a reputation as one of the most reliable and consistent charter operations on the South Coast. They are available for fishing charters, whale watching, dolphin cruises, seal viewing, penguin tours, scuba diving, snorkelling, seal dives, wreck dives, grey nurse sharks, historic tours, wildlife cruises and bird watching trips.
Their two vessels "Dreamtime" and "Sea Eagle" are fully surveyed with the Waterways Authority and licensed to carry passengers under a very stringent Passenger Ferry survey. Skippers and crew are fully qualified and have more than 35 years’ experience each, fishing, diving and touring the waters around Narooma, Montague Island and the Continental Shelf.

A tour suitable for the whole family!
One of the best attractions on the South Coast is a Tour to Montague Island Nature Reserve. Relax aboard one of our vessels and enjoy your twenty minute voyage to Montague’s resident Seal Colony. Along the way you may encounter pods of migrating Whales (Sept to Nov), vast schools of friendly Dolphins, basking Sunfish, Manta Rays, or acres of pelagic fish.
Montague Island is well known for its colony of Little Penguins. These birds return to their burrows each evening after a busy time fishing in the waters in and around the Island.
This tour begins by setting sail straight out to Montague Island for a guided tour, enjoying time with the Whales and Seals.
The late afternoon tour is the same as the morning tour but stays at the island to see the Penguin Parade on dusk.
All Whale Watching and Montague Island Tours are subject to Weather and Sea conditions and may be cancelled at short notice or during a trip due to deteriorating conditions. Prize trips are also subject to minimum numbers. We ask that passengers arrive 15 minutes prior to departure as time tables are strictly adhered to.
