They are also encouraging people to have a go themselves, and this course can help you do that.
The online self-paced course from the International Institute of Home Staging (IIHS) guides you step-by-step through some core design principles that are essential to staging your property successfully, in addition to specific home staging skills that show you how to showcase a property's strong points.
Students of the IIHS are all across Australia include many contestants from The Block.
This particular course aims to develop foundation knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Property buying and selling
- Design elements in home staging, including styling
- Home staging.
The course is offered as a distance-learning course with regular assessments to be completed and submitted. It can be started any time and done in the comfort of your home at your own pace.
The total prize value is more than $500 including the online course ($497) and the Ivory House scented candle. The competition closes on Sunday 16th November.
